Hello,
Here’s a recap of last Wed’s 2010 New York State Humane Lobby Day organized by The Humane Society of the United States and sponsored by Farm Sanctuary, Humane Society of New York, and New York State Humane Association.
As of last Friday – just two days after the event, 23 new sponsorships for the lobby day bills were secured thanks to the efforts of lobby day participants!
The 2010 New York State Humane Lobby Day was the biggest ever lobby day for animals in New York State – 188 citizen lobbyists attended the event from all over the state, representing 123 of the 212 legislative districts to meet with the offices of 47 of the 60 state senators and 76 of the 152 state assemblymembers.
